Ty Nant's parent company, Biscaldi Luigi Imp/Exp srl of Genoa, Italy is one of the sponsors of the recently renovated Welsh College of Music & Drama in the mews of Cardiff Castle. The company has sponsored a recital room, named in honour of Pietro Biscaldi's late father, who himself was a patron of the arts.
The Anthony Hopkins Centre, as the building is now known, was officially opened by HRH Prince Charles on Thursday, 22 April 1999 at 1.00pm



1989 saw Ty Nant set the trend for blue glass. In November 1998 Ty Nant launched a special edition crimson bottle, which is only currently
available in the 750ml size Audacity, innovation and design have always played an important part in Ty Nant's international success.
In keeping with the already famous blue bottle, reminiscent of blue glass traditionally made in Bristol in the 1800's, the crimson colour was also associated with the renowned glass-houses of Bristol.

Ty Nant were co-sponsors of the Ian Jarvis(driver)/Paul Train (co-driver) team in the 1998 Championship. The team finished the season 7th out of 15 in the challenge.
This sponsorship is being repeated for the 1999 season and we look forward to the challenge of improving on the team's overall position.
